Hand-painted collectible baseball card

This is a tale of two Joes...

Joe Cool

Montana was nicknamed Joe Cool for his incredibly calm demeanor under pressure. One classic example occurred in Super Bowl XXIII:

Trailing the Bengals 16-13 with 3:20 left, the 49ers were backed up on their own eight-yard line. In a do or die moment, the huddle seemed overly tense. Just then, Joe spots a celebrity in the stands. "Look, isn't that John Candy?" It calms everyone down, and Joe leads them 92 yards, throwing the winning TD pass to John Taylor with 34 seconds left.

I've painted Snoopy's alter-ego, Joe Cool, in my bubble gum texture.

Mean Joe

Joe Greene was perhaps the most intimidating player of his era. The Hall of Fame defensive lineman anchored the Steel Curtain, bringing 4 Super Bowl championships to Pittsburgh from 1974-79.

In 1979, Coca-Cola filmed their iconic "Hey Kid, Catch!" commercial... pairing Mean Joe with their tagline, "Have a Coke and a Smile." It aired during Super Bowl XIV, as the Steelers routed the Rams 31-19.

About my collector cards

After purchasing some old wax packs to study the size and texture of gum sticks, I developed my own paint techniques in order to replicate it. Now, I hand-paint bubble gum directly onto vintage baseball cards to create small collectibles.

Here's what you'll receive with this order

  • My original hand-painted gum onto a baseball card.
  • Each collector card is paint-marked with it's edition number.
  • These art cards are protected inside an Ultra Pro One Touch magnetic card holder... customized with my matching Rosen signature label.
  • I do not sign these cards by request. However, your package will include bonus items personally autographed by me.

Expected delivery time for pre-orders

Are you purchasing a pre-order? My pre-order listings are for card art that has not been painted yet. In most cases, I already have the card in stock to paint on, and will create your artwork within a few days of your purchase. Thanks for your patience.
