Mike Tyson's Punch Out
Hand-painted collectible baseball card
Mike Tyson was a mediocre middle infielder who compiled a career -0.3 WAR over 10 seasons. He was finally punched out of the league after 1981... but Topps still issued him a card for the '82 season. Ironically, Tyson's nickname was Rocky. While his baseball career preceded that of the legendary heavyweight, I thought it was fun to include Nintendo's 8-bit character Little Mac, knocking Tyson out!
About my collector cards
After purchasing some old wax packs to study the size and texture of gum sticks, I developed my own paint techniques in order to replicate it. Now, I hand-paint gum stick art directly onto vintage baseball cards to create small collectibles.
Here's what you'll receive with this order
- My original hand-painted gum onto a baseball card.
- Each collector card is paint-marked with the number produced.
- These art cards are protected inside an Ultra Pro One Touch magnetic card holder... customized with my Rosen signature.
I'm maintaining a growing checklist of the cards I've painted for your reference. It details what cards are available for purchase, and which ones are owned by collectors. Collectors can reference my complete checklist.
