Steve Bedrosian aka Bedrock
Hand-painted collectible baseball card
Steve "Bedrock" Bedrosian was traded by the Braves to the Phillies before the 1986 season, where he was converted to a reliever. It was the best thing that could ever happen to him! In his first year in relief, he saved 29 games, then won the N.L Cy Young Award in 1987 with a 2.83 ERA and a league-leading 40 saves. Only three other relievers have won the Cy Young award since Bedrosian: Mark Davis, Dennis Eckersley, and Eric Gagne.
About my collector cards
After purchasing some old wax packs to study the size and texture of gum sticks, I developed my own paint techniques in order to replicate it. Now, I hand-paint gum stick art directly onto vintage baseball cards to create small collectibles.
Here's what you'll receive with this order
- My original hand-painted gum onto a baseball card.
- Each collector card is paint-marked with the number produced.
- These art cards are protected inside an Ultra Pro One Touch magnetic card holder... customized with my Rosen signature.
I'm maintaining a growing checklist of the cards I've painted for your reference. It details what cards are available for purchase, and which ones are owned by collectors. Collectors can reference my complete checklist.
